k1ck have announced that they have accepted an offer for Christopher “MUTiRiS” Fernandes.

In the official announcement, k1ck state that Christopher“MUTiRiS” Fernandes will play in a “different country”, with his new team due to be revealed early next week, HLTV.org has learned.

MUTiRiS has spent most of the last eight years playing for k1ck, first in 1.6 and then in CS:GO, attending multiple international events, including KODE5 2009, three ESWC events (2010, 2014 and 2016) and WESG Europe.

MUTiRiS leaves k1ck

This will be the 24-year-old’s second stint abroad after previously playing for Spanish team OverGaming in 2015 alongside players like Ricardo “rmn” Oliveira, Christian“loWel” Garcia Antoran and Xavi “Aguila” Casals Sabi.

“I would like to thank K1ck for always being there for me through thick and thin, for so long,” he told k1ck’s website.

“Now that the time has come to face a different challenge, I hope that they continue on their path, filled with success.”

With MUTiRiS’ departure, k1ck’s team has been depleted to just two players, after João “horvy” Matheus Rodaczynski Horvath was sold to Immortals and Joao “KillDreaM” Ferreirachose to leave the squad following the end of his contract with the organisation.
